Yes if uve seen that clip with James brown calls Michael up on stage to sing ..he sings half a minute then does this amazing wild dance move where he mimiks the James brown shuffle and then does it again with his own modernised version and boy it's immaculate and James brown is ecstatic with it and is overjoyed u can see..and suitably impressed..I bet Michael was the only one he see do it better..

The difference is MJ was doing what others invented. The moon walk was done at least 30 years before mj did it. JB moved to the beat where as mj moved on a dance count, which didn't always land on the beat. JB free styled with rhythm.
