Nice video po. It's better to lock the excel range always whenever you're doing the counting (and just do it once). Avoid also hard-coding the criteria; it's better to refer to the cell and locking it where the criteria reside.

madam , how about this like the document have same number but included 3sheets example : EXM-DD-SS-01 1of3 (Approved) EXM-DD-SS-01 2of3 (Revised and resubmit) EXM-DD-SS-01 3of3 (Approved) its one package document , but if we insert to your format, it will count as 3 documents right? but i want it count as 1 document only since it has a same number for 3 sheets, also 1of3 is approved but 2of3 is revised , how to solve my problem ? please help me ,im new as doc control. sorry for my super bad english, hope you can share your exprience.

Hi egi, if you are taliking about shop drawing your formula will ba counted per drawing even if it is 3 more documents in one submittal. Because each drawings sometimes have different code.

@@MariaMariaDocumentController so madam ,from your explanation, if the shop drawings has 3sheets with a same numbering , it will count as 3 ,not 1 right? So i have to input 1 by 1 per sheets? Thats what i get from your explanation mam.

@@egymoutley3371 Hi egy, yes it will be counted as 3 drawings, for all shop drawings submittal your counting will be per drawings because you will received different codes for each drawing, as per your example there are code that are revise and resubmit and other are approved, to make your report correct it is better to count it by drawings not per submittal Others you can count per submittal except for shop drawings and as built drawings. Just check the rows started , the columns maybe its not all same, make it all same then it will work.
