your hands and voice are pretty and this vid is like ASMR. im gonna use these techniques for christmas this year
@glittercatstudios6 жыл бұрын
When I got my very first job, it was as a seasonal gift-wrapper at a very high-end department store. We had similar techniques, but was taught probably the most important one for gift presentation, and I'm curious as to why you don't teach it or demonstrate it. After you have the gift fully wrapped, take your thumb and index finger and slide/pinch along every single edge of the present. For a standard box/cube shape, that will be twelve edges. If you neglect this one tiny thing, your gift wrap looks saggy, especially on the gorgeous, more expensive foil wrapping papers. It's a technique that I now subconsciously do on every gift that I wrap. Just wondering why you don't do that one, when you have such impeccable detail on everything else. Thanks for this great video. I'm glad you showed how to do the multiple-fold front. I kept seeing it on Google but the articles I pulled up didn't explain it! Glad to see it's so very simple. Merry Christmas!

What an awesome and wonderful video. Not only is it lovely to listen to as your voice is very clear and pleasant; it is so succinct. Congratulations; you're a natural teacher for sure. Thank you so much for this and I can't wait to try it on my presents.

I like your nose ring, don't listen to haters. & you're not weird, I keep packing paper, it comes in very handy for so many things. These are beautiful. Thank you.

I like your “weird” 😉! I keep packing paper, feathers, all kinds of things to make my gifts look fun. There’s nothing like getting a gift that looks too pretty to open. Thank you for sharing 😊👍~Sheeara, Alaska

This was such a relaxing and helpful video with great ideas. I really like how calm your voice is and the soft Christmas music playing in the background..you did an awesome job explaining all of the steps and showing how to do them at an angle where I could clearly see what you were doing with every step. And you put in examples of the wrapping styles with different sized boxes? Seriously.. I've watched quite a few gift wrapping videos lately and this one is by far the best! So thank you :)

Mommy Wifes well said... and thank you for bringing something positive to KZbin. It’s so nice to see someone bringing happiness to a video appreciated rather than negativity to a KZbin video they could have just as easily clicked away from. I appreciate you. And for the maker of this video, I completely agree. This video is informative, relaxing, and enjoyable. Not too much or too little of anything. Thank you for sharing. 😊 ~Sheeara, Alaska

Just love the creative and caring way she wraps the gifts. We can learn so much from being open to other cultures.

We CAN learn a lot if we're open to other cultures. Out of context you're correct. But in the context of this video, I wonder, in what culture do you suppose this video immerses you?

I have done gift wrapping with pleating before, but your hint to crease in the end with the nail makes it more defined. Thanks.
@DramaPimp067 жыл бұрын
Amazing video. So many of the ones that demonstrate pleating don't discuss an essential element: how much wrapping paper. Your video was exactly what I was looking for.

Reading these comments!! Can’t believe that some of these people can be so hateful and down right UGLY!! Don’t listen to a word they are saying!! You are such a BEAUTIFUL woman, your voice is so soothing and I totally enjoyed watching your video even though I had seen others with this technique no one explains things in exactly the same way!! EVERYONE brings something new to the table and puts it in their OWN style...I’m sure you didn’t use anyone else’s hands to wrap these did you?? Lololol KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

Here’s an easy, simple, and beautiful idea for you procrastinators who haven’t yet wrapped their presents: 1. Get the gift 2. Grab a plastic grocery bag 3. Toss that shit in there and merry Christmas
@glittercatstudios6 жыл бұрын
+Eryn Noli Glad I'm not getting a gift from you. Don't you see the point in this whole ritual? It's to make the person receiving your gift *FEEL EXTRAORDINARILY SPECIAL*! The entire reason you're giving someone a gift is to let them know that you care for them. This is also the reason you wrap it as beautifully as you can. Everything about that gift tells that person how much you care for them. It's like letter-writing vs. e-mailing. Your way is an impersonal, lightning-fast e-mail that says you didn't care enough about them to MAKE the time to write. Actually choosing to set aside time to wrap the gift and make the presentation gorgeous is like writing a letter. See the difference?
