I am very much interested to master the art of vibrato in violin, though I am an old man and practice classical music. My 1st finger is of 2.7 inch,in spite of long exercises till now I am not satisfied with ,to learn the art.

In case of learning any technique you should be very petient because your muscles are going through a new form of movements which you were not familiar with before. And 2ndly always use the right technique coz its better to not knowing rather than doing it wrong!

The problem I'm facing is that when I try to do the vibrato in the way shown, my violin is shaking and it's getting troublesome for me to stroke the bow no matter how hard I try to keep the violin stable. What can I do?

যার হাতের portion টা ছোট অর্থাৎ আঙুল গুলোও ছোট, কোনো রকমে fingering হয়। সে কিভাবে vibreto করবে।
