I enjoy building wakeboards and wakefoil boards with my father but I have not seen a wooden board so small that you can dock start with. Very cool!

Excellent explanation. Thankyou. So many younger ones try and make it seem so difficult and "extreme" as if they were the only "waterman" (LOL - BIG LOL) there. This gives the dimensions, the surface and the technique. THANKYOU. I have just recently got back up from a heart transplant and need to find a training programme that is complete but soft on the body if I fall. I used to windsurf foil and sail a lot so I hope this will get me fit enough and back on the water soon. Cheers Miguel. THIS VIDEO IS EXCELLENT.

Thanks for posting such a good video. Loads of information and also very well explained. I am going to build a board similar to yours and do this this year. Can I ask a few questions? 1. I am 62Kg. Do you think a large size front wing and a 45cm stab wing would be ok for my weight? 2. What is the specifications of the nut inserts you epoxied into the board? And where did you buy them? 3. If I bought a large size front wing and a 45cm stab wing, do you think this would also be suitable for use with a 6' SUP foil board? Keep up the videos, all very good amigo! 👍🏼

Unbelievable progress for 5th time I must say! Did you have other foiling experience? What is your weight? Is there any tutorial how to make such nice board?

I did kite, surf and wake foil before. There's a video about the board where you can see something but it's not a real tutorial with all the details...sorry!!

@zurraspa13 жыл бұрын

Gracias

The setup is very important. I tried before with a 5.5" surfoil board with 65cm mast and it didn't work. In my opinion the smaller the board the easier it gets. Bigger foils with high aspect shape makes pumping much easier.When I first pumped for 10 m it was probably my 20th attempt but with the proper foil and mast length (80 cm) it was the 8th attempt. I tried with a smaller stab (40 cm) but it doesn't work for me, I use a huge 55cm stab to make it easier. My 1900cm2 is ok for my weight (77kg) but it works much better with a 2500 cm2 foil. I'm planning to use a smaller board, this one is 92 cm to demonstrate how small I can go to make it work!!

@@zurraspa1 Thank you for the show. I used to surf and windsurf a lot. I was getting ready to buy a Naish foil today, either the Naish jet 1650 or the HA 1800. With your comments, I'm thinking of a larger foil. I have the same 77 kg weight. But I want to master wingsurfing first.

Hi.With this foil I can pump up to 50 seconds. I borrowed a 2500cm2 from a friend so maybe more! Best foils for pumping are the hi aspect but I don't have one🤷♂️

I was teaching a friend of mine that knows how to foil and pump behind a boat and he tried hard 15 times; he's jumping better but he will need another 20 to start pumping a little bit. I teached 2 kids too and they made it in 10 tries and they spent 2 days , 6 hours a day and now they are better than me !!!

Nice, so this does not have a motor on it at all? are you able to just ride or surf or do you have to bounce it a lot? Just trying to figure this out!
@brandonyafanaro97103 жыл бұрын
Some of the expensive ones have motors and propellers . These ones are moving from “pumping” which is just bouncing back and forth
@dekzan3 жыл бұрын
Looks like you foil is too much in the back, needs to be moved forward a little. I don't know, I never tried to do this.

It depends how big is the board.With this size if I move the foil fwd I should place my front feet out of the board

I've never skated/surfed, do you think I would have to work on my balance before I could pull this off?
@zurraspa13 жыл бұрын
It´s a bit difficult if you don´t know how to balance in a foil. The best way to learn is with a boat!. But if you wanna do this, use a helmet and an impact vest!!
@dekzan3 жыл бұрын
IMHO...If you never surfed,, you need to master wingsurfing. Get a foilboard and a wing,, then you'll be okay. The danger is to fall over the foil.
