Love this kind of stuff. Even vets can/should refresh on this stuff every so often, practice (and studying) makes perfect! Keep up the great work, love the channel and the insight!

Nice, basically stuff I already do. My adept Mechanicus can be a lil tricky as the dune crawler bases are so massive.

As someone who willingly does an army that has to fight up hill with in my Khorne Daemonkin (and I don't do the Bloodletter bombs) I've learned that not only placement but also order of placement is key. The first thing I put down are my furys since they're the most likely die and key purpose is to get into melee before anything to lock up units. Second are Flesh Hounds since they're also somewhat disposable but have the benefit of T4, 2 wounds snd Psychoc denials. Then will likely be my lone Bloodletter unit I place for Obsec purposes. From there are my Bloodcrushers with a Skulltaker by them to give plus 1 to hit. Then the SoulGrinder due to his size and the 3 Skull Canons followed bua Daemon Prince who gives them reroll hits and finally my 2 exhalted Bloodthirsters. I'm still having a hard fight ahead but thst order makes my oppents guess for the big units they're more intimidated by and let's me save my keys units do whatever placement they put their army.

Ironic that Khorne really has to strategize

Most of the time I've played there is very little obscuring terrain, or much terrain worth interacting with at all. The guy who set up the terrain didn't even really seem to know what terrain does. Maybe I should take more initiative in setting up terrain so I don't get tabled by like turn 2... But I was afraid to say much since, though I've read through the rules multiple times, I've only played like 2 games in 9th edition, after you include that one.

@@simonmiller5910 I see. That's why. So there r rules like that in "ancillary" documents?? So in order to understand all the rules not only can I not rely on the core rules, I have to read each and every supplement to know I got everything?
