Finally! Thank you! I've loved the look of these new movement abilities in Fortnite but couldn't really find a practical use for most of them, especially in combat. But now I've atleast got an idea for where to start and begin my Fortnite Ninja Training! Here's hoping my enemies never see me coming! 8:51 I've honestly always wanted to see what a portal/ teleporting item would look like in Fortnite but could never figure out how they'd make it work. But clearly they've got smarter developers than me because it's so simple, intuitive, yet fun and so useful with so many possible plays. Truly everything a Fortnite item could strive to be!

Super helpful stuff. I had started using the typhoon blade a lot these last couple weeks but was missing out on some of the ways I could be using it in combat. Will definitely spend some time practicing now.

After playing around more yesterday it almost feels like a variation on the War Machine Jetback. Maybe a little harder to execute to perfection but the sprint-jump-jump to break your opponents camera feels similar to the jump-jump-sprint of the jetpack. Minus the auto-high ground that the jetpack gave you with the hover.

Overlooked one good use for the void mask, the ability to throw down a portal and pick up downed teammates and teleport to safety. Hmmm and if more interested in your teammates loot keep doing that to bring it with you. 🤣

Just want to add that the Void mask Did cause fall dmg until the patch. it was not emant to but many players had it doing so, it has been patched but in MY case i did not get a fair start so i am Very inexperienced with it and will probably Still not use it much.

Very nice video, Haven't seen enough people talk about or use the new movement. Also a tip for build players is that if you place a cone and sprint jump on the tip of it you can perform a ledge jump to help you take high ground easier

I dont know how useful this cam be but if you shockwave and wall scramble on a wall, you still mantain your momentum when the climbing animation ends. Could be good to reposition somewhat? Could also make your trajectory more unpredictable if youre being chased (same thing if youre affected by low grav effect

My adventure with Fortnite started form Lego fortnight hahaha, and just starting my adventure with normal fortnight, I am better at it but I feel panic while attacking and being attacked and just missing my shots all the time ! So annoying! Want to give up ! Looking at you playing is just insane. I can see now that not only aim is important and also all movement collaboration to it . Hopefully I can learn from your video!

Can you add a return button and or weapon selection area to the “Movement vs Bots” currently you have to exit all the way to Home Screen if you want to swap a weapons set up, I think this would be a nice improvement

I was popping a big pot in the passenger seat, and didn't want to switch seats three times to get back in the driver seat, so I tried the hop out and hop back in quickly trick. The car was going too fast for that, and I fell to the ground. As you can tell, I wasn't familiar with the typhoon blade yet because I died to fall damage with it. 💀

I know you know this Toby 😂 How far does the regular sword slash attack damage. I know the charged up one is like ~14m I keep getting surprised by how far enemy’s can hit me it seems just when I think I’m just far enough away.

@ThatsJust_Ty charged is 14 meters away. Normal is about 5 meters but it magnetized, so their first couple might miss but they will keep moving toward you about as fast as you can sprint jump away. Gotta just get medium range from the start or typhoon jump over them. Guide dropping tomorrow!

@TaporMnk it's really amazing. The only downside is that a lot of the structures in the game have a lot of decorations or overhangs that keep you from properly jumping or climbing off them - gotta make sure you have a clean spot on the wall. There are quite a few POIs that work great though.
