DRAX GAMING You can aim with your binoculars on enemies that aren't moving and then switch and fire your weapon for quick headshots. It helps so you aren't giving your position away while zoomed in. Helps a ton on Crait.

another good loadout is the CQC specialist, you take the bubble sheild, stealth card, and the brawler card, and use them in conjunction to create a trooper that hits like a jedi in close combat, the stealth card max gives you well over 100 damage per punch, allowing you to two-punch any trooper class, and 5-hit stunlock kill a hero. while giving you durability with the bubble sheild and brawler cards. popping your base infiltration for the bonus to speed and undetectability before charging in from an un-expected quarter really makes you a close combat nightmare.

I prefer the IQA with dual zoom and bolt speed over the 242 with dual zoom and improved cooling. First of all, let me say that I play the specialist as a sniper, and I've found out that with the IQA it's easier to double shots. The 242 has wayyy to much recoil and a slower rof, and the only static targets you have are other specialists or heavy in sentry mode. So hitting a fast moving target it's difficult given the fact that the 242 "bullet" it's very slow compared to the IQA with bolt speed, so you have to really compensate for the delay at great distance. I find it easier to do three fast body shot with the IQA with bolt speed on a heavy that's running like crazy than trying to go for an headshot with the 242, especially when that means waiting for a solid second before having another try.

For outdoor sniping I can also recommend the killstreak infiltration and stealth star cards. Killstreak is really helpful to give you more time with infiltration if it takes you a while to get into position with your flank. Stealth is just a nice bonus if you find yourself countersniping because they can’t mark you. Plus, if you’re using a high damage sniper and you’re being rushed, you can hide by doorways and body shot-melee people to death before they even get a shot off. (Check your math first, depending on which sniper you’re using)

I might sound crazy but sniping in battlefront is much easier in first person, it's easy to head glitch and you can shoot from cracks in wall or debris around the map. Also when in first person it's easy to shoot at people's feet who are behind certain cover.

Sadly not, weapon mod unlocks only come from kills with the main weapon. When you use Infiltration you switch out to the EE4 so that is a different weapon.

I believe it only refreshes the duration. So the tactic should be to get a shot in early and switch back to your primary.

To tag you actually need to see them in the open and left click. Thermals are currently a bit broke as they bug out and don't show up infantry sometimes even when using Bossk's ability. My mouse is at 800 DPI. I think the in game sens is default.

You can use infiltration to get to a place of benefit to the class like behind enemy lines or off to a flank. It doesn't have to be used to attack. After getting to a flank just focus on picking off singular targets. That tip is for Galactic assault. If you just want more kills going into Blast mode should help you get those a bit faster. Use infiltration a lot in that mode.

The starter sniper is pretty bad. Basically you need to flank the enemy and hit them from the side. Getting the stealth card can work here as it won't show you on the radar when you fire. Since it only takes kills to get to the next weapon, use the infiltration ability whenever you can. Get the scramble infiltration card tiered up and use it a lot. You can also use the infiltration ability to get in that position behind people and once there try to only pick off singular targets with your main weapon. I'm still planning to write a starter weapon guide but there's just a couple tips that I use.

I'm trying to unlock weapons for my specialist, and the starting sniper makes me want to hang myself from a flagpole. I am *very* upset that you didn't cover how to utilize it to make this god awful weapon capable of doing remotely anything. After landing a headshot all the enemy does is roll and heal. It's worthless on anyone who's not a complete doorknob.

Sadly I think the tactic with that weapon is to pick off weak targets. I didn't use it at all because I bought the Elite Trooper bundle effectively bypassing the need to use it.
