It wasn't like that 20 years ago, all Legends ever did was adding to the story. And you could still discard it if you wanted to. But those were the only 2 options basically. Now, it's very messy to navigate: some people like Disney, others like parts of Disney and parts of Legends, some stick with Legends and others only care about George's movies. But if you don't count the games as part of the whole, why even play them? That's why I'm really picky about what SW games I play. I gotta admit though, this idea of a "whole" is becoming more and more of a headache.

That's just how BF2 works, like HVV (which I think is the gamemode he's playing) is always put into two teams: light vs dark. And there's no friendly fire so you're kinda stuck doing it this way

i bet once, i lost, and i paid. my word is worth a lot more than a few bucks. but yeah i never once got paid when i won :( well not with money anyway. but a guy bet his character that he could beat me 1v1 in an mmorpg, but if i lost i had to give him a super rare item i was wearing. i took the bet. my character was a meme "unascended" first job lvl 93 character against his lvl 97 second job character (second jobs are straight upgrades to first jobs in every way, i didn't take my ascension for the memes, i wanted to be the most powerful 1st job in the server and beat clueless bullies in pvp). odds were hugely in his favor, but i used superior strategy and managed to squeeze a win. he said it was a fluke and that it would never happen again, and asked for a rematch. no one would say a thing if i refused, but oh well, that's why i made a meme character. and the crowd wanted more blood. so i accepted. i beat him again. by a hair's width. it was AWESOME. i seriously didn't not expect to win twice in a row. then he actually deleted his character. i told him not to but he did it anyway. gotta commend his guts, a character like that takes like 4 months of work to make. anyway, he made a new one on a different class and later thanked me because he liked his new character so much more than the old one. good ending.
