Thank you for taking the time to comment and for finding the film useful... Distance in your cast will be the same relatively regardless of class if the length of the shooting head is relatively the same length. When you want to cast far you choose longer shooting heads that are also a bit heavier. You can also check out the lts scss shooting heads, They cast far easily... Tight lines Ronny

Hi there, awesome video, thanks! Could you please write the manes of the twins here? It's hard to get them right from another language. Thanks a lot!
Hello! Very nice cast! Interesting information. Can you provide a link so that I can see how these brothers cast long distances or their website where I can get a detailed description of this casting technique and also the equipment? I don't know anyone other than Granbo. I'm also interested in casting long distances with rods that are less than 13 feet long, namely: what range is considered normal? I asked this question because I can't understand why I get almost the same distance with different equipment? I use Sage Pulse Switch rod 11'4#7 and Winston 12’ 6"#6. My working cast without wind is 21-24 meters. I just can't figure out what I can do to make my casting better (maybe reduce the weight of the line)? Thanks for your film.

A branch topic for this is how rod action affects this. I'll refer to two - pacific northwest style of rod action and the "scandi" style of rod action. The scandi rod action tends to keep the tip up when doing this whereas if you put an overload of power into a pacific NW style of rod, you tend to over power it and the tips dives, throwing the line down. I don't know if you've talked about this much. It may be a good topic to cover.

Hi there. Really impressed with your videos. Really helpful. When you say you use (for distance) a rod with a deep action further down the rod but still with a fast recovery. Who makes such a rod? Which do you use?
