How to Double your Bass with a second subwoofer

This is part three of the Retro PC Subwoofer build and we are moving away from Isobaric designs to try out a dual driver 4th order enclosure. This box was tuned for 33Hz and has been preforming extremely well while offering a nice 8 dB boost in the sub bass region. The only downside is the overall size of the enclosure.

What would happen if you turn one speaker with the backside out and reverse the polarity, would that be same as isobaric

It would look cool, that is about it. Same output, same frequency. For Isobaric to be effective you need couple the cones together, generally with a small airspace. I did a video on isobaric loading and found it to be ineffective with modern subwoofers. (Which is sad since I was always fascinated with iso loading)
