How To Downgrade & Mod Xenoverse 2 EASY ANY DLC!

This is currently the only way to play mods after the DLC 17 update, you will need to downgrade your game. Please follow all the steps in the video (also in the description), backup your save data, and to get the patcher tools, you will need to join the Citadel discord server where it will be available in the news tab. 7:20 there is a way ro check the progress, go to files, main disc, prog files x86, steam, steam apps, content, app_454650, depot_454651. then hover ur mouse over "cpk" folder, and itll say the size, which is the progress pretty much.

We sadly probably wont be getting an updated Patcher until after the Festival Of Universes is over. It updates the game pretty much every week that it's around and the final update is probably going to be sometime in December or so (I haven't been keeping up with it since I've been a little sluggish on my console version of the game, so I'm not sure how many weeks are left) This isn't even counting the amount of time it'll most likely take Eternity to update the patcher after the Paid part of DLC 17. We probably wont be modding like normal until sometime early next year.

I remember another way for depot download, which uses a bat file that's made in Notepad instead of the Steam console mode and that worked, I had to do this a month ago because my computer was messed up and I had to reinstall it in factory state. I have Steam offline so it doesn't force update my game.

Hey guys, if you're having "Depot download failed" error, check for any mistakes you might have made, a missing number, an extra space, anything, and if everything is correct and you're still getting it, just spam it, i know this sounds weird but, i had the exact same problem, after spamming it a few times out of anger, one of the times, it started downloading.

I just got tired of having to do this every time a dlc came out i would spend several hours trying to edit movesets with modded moves on many different moddded characters and when id open them up in the chatacter edit theyd all say "select skill"

The downgrade process varies depending on your internet. Took around 15 min for the download and the actual modding process only takes a few minutes. It's not bad.

Yeah unfortunately you need to be online to verify the files. You only do that if you have issues. Generally everything should be fine if you clear your mods.

Make sure all the correct files were pasted in the directory. You can try to remove all mods and verify game cache integrity within steam.

I got all the regular things done with the video, but i have an issues with anticheat. I did everything in the video, but cant launch the game. I get an error message from anticheat saying that the xinput1_3.dll file we have to put into the bin is untrusted. Same with the alt .dll file.
