When you installed Realtek Audio Driver, did you uninstall the High Definition Audio Driver first or after installing Realtek Driver?. I'm having same problem windows update deleted Realtek Driver and replaced it with High Def Audio Driver

@@fpsalien I left the High Definition Audio Driver alone, I went and installed realtek audio driver. When installing realtek audio driver, it uninstalls the older versions, restarts your computer, and installs the newer version.

My pc would not enable speakers when headphone jack was pulled out. I had to manually change it in settings. Then the speakers would not turn off when headphone jack was plugged back in....Then when I pulled out the headphones the tiny onboard speaker started to operate! This vid fixed everything. Downloaded the new driver, restarted PC, all good now👍

For those of you who have been able to get 5.1 surround sound via optical spdif using patches and following steps on a KZbin video tutorial (a simple search will give you all the info), be aware that the 2021 realtek driver update breaks the surround sound option. It's best to stick to the 2017 version+patches if you use spdif output and want an option for Dolby/DTS surround sound.

I really had to return a nice monitor from costco bc i thought it was the monitor speakers that were the problem. I got a new monitor with speaker from Pixio but the Acer from Costco had a much better display. Im still having audio issues. Im hoping this tutorial fixes the audio problem!!!

Hey, I’ve had this issue with my laptop where it makes a crackling/pop sound; for the past year now, and no solution seems to work. The issue seems to be coming from my “(AMD) High Definition Audio Device”, yet nothing I do seems to work. I’m out of options now - and I’ve updated BIOS, and even did a full resetting of the laptop. It seems to happen each time I open a specific application/software, then I obviously have to re-open Device Manager, and update my High Definition Audio Device. I've uninstalled the drive, and re-installed it several times, but still... It sort of feels like the issue is caused in someway by the application/software, interfering with my High Definition Audio Device - and I've even deleted, and re-installed the application. Do you know any other method? Thanks

The install wizard says it's a 2 step process, 1, uninstall/reboot and 2 install/reboot... I'm in an endless loop of part one. It never continues on to the actual installation part. I've gone through the uninstall part 4 times without ever actually installing.

Hope do notice me because i have realtek audio manager also on my windows 10 and it's working good but the weird part is; the rear and front plugs in together at the same time is not working unless choosing only one plug for example if the plug is on to front' only the earphone/headphone will work but when turning on the rear plug' then the subwoofer speakers only will work anyway is there a way to make it work together?
