look under active downloads or download history, or it still has to be extracted under games it will look like a bubble near top of list of download games.

Because he downloaded them. If you download a game from the free to play section, it says you've purchased it. You do basically purchase it, but for $0.00. That's why the section is called free-to-play, because they're free...

You Don't need the full Uncharted 3 game. You can play multiplayer for free you just won't earn trophies and there will be a level cap to 15.. You also will not get the campaign but yea you don't need to have the full game

i just updated PS3, its north america region, some regions don't have free-to-play. if your ps3 was bought and setup on North america internet service then its north america region allowing free-to-play on PSN.
