Can we use WSxM software to do the drift corrections of the STM images? If possible, can you please show us how to do it?

Use ImageJ software... For grain/particle size... For porosity please see in literature what kind of software is being used by people for estimating porosity. Sorry for the delay, here is what the help file says: SPM Image Filter - Popcorn Also called medium. Used to eliminate possible peaks of the sample. The filter takes the average of the heights of the image, and uses it to replace the values of the points that are much over the mean value. Specific filtering parameters are determined in the popup dialog box. Dialog options: Cutoff: Determine how far from the average height the maximum height can be. WSxM uses the value: p = average +cutoff*γ as the value of the highest point in one given region of the image (being γ the Root Mean Square ). Correlation: Determine the type of regions from which the average is going to be calculated. Global Correlation: Use the whole image to do the average. Local Correlation: Separate the image into several individual regions, take the average of each of them, and filter each part individually. Apply to: Determine the kind of region for Local Correlation. Window: Determine the size in pixels of the squares and lines. Number: Show the number of points that have been modified when applying the filter. Click Go to preview the filtered image. You may apply the filter again.
