Awesome! Was pulling my hair out in FAB trying to find a Metahuman menu item or the correct search term. I thought the Quixel Bridge plug-in was long dead, so this approach never occurred to me. I'll give it a try - Thanks!

I think they disabled bridge but then realized there was no way for people to download metahumans on FAB

Probably the plugin on yours was "accidentally" removed. Mine has always been around since UE 5.0.

@@SmartPoly Only plugin I had to reactivates is Electronic Node. Those part of the UE like Metahuman SDK, Fab, and Quixel Bridge already activated when I downloaded 5.5.

UE 5.5 is an excellent update to UE 5.4. However you must be patient when you are downloading it to your system. It took me several hours to get this game engine working correctly. 🤔

you dont need to export the file, just save your metahuman and it should show up in your library in bridge

Unfortunately, you always have to export the model and make the clothes in Blender to then import them with the metahuman skeleton.

No. Even the presets are not there anymore. Everything is updated :(

I don't know if this will help, but maybe you might need to login to Quixel Bridge (I had to login); it will be the icon in the upper right had side of the app.

I installed bridge in UE5 but it says "background service has stopped" when I go to quixel from square plus icon. My inbound rules for firewall are already allowed.
