Because it's a shoulder dart, the bust darts is not needed once the dart is at the shoulder. They are different kinds of darts manipulation. They are always some designs whereby tightening the underbust will be needed. I hope you understand now?

I think 50 inches bra cups is the highest for now and I don't think you can use it because all these cups are always smaller than the original busts. I actually used a bra cups of 50 for a client that has a bust of 44 recently. What I did was to fold the cups into two and sew half inch on the upper part and it fits the client perfectly. What you can do for situations like this is to use a warden or hip pad to create the cups using the cups pattern you drafted

Yes, it's different. You can use either one but this recent one is like Natalie Brey pattern in inches and it's much easier to construct
