I love how you make it look like anyone should be able to do this, but you are a true artist with an artist's eye for the details that make it look so real. I can see that you just look at what you have done so far and then just intuitively know what needs to be done next. and of course with your steady hand you do just that. I know that it's all about practice and time spent at the canvas but I want to be able to do what you do as effortlessly that when I try it I feel like such a cults but trying some of what you illustrate comes out much better then it would if I had not had the pleasure of seeing you do it. Thanks so much for sharing your amazing gift.

I am just starting to draw and have followed some of you videos with varying results. I find myself watching more than practicing. As much as I enjoy the videos I must reverse this to improve. Thank you please keep adding more to your collection.

You are amazing. I've been wanting to put a Pinball on my business card, but haven't had much luck drawing spheres. I found your series, and watched this one on creating Chrome Sphere's with fine Colors. I took my pencil and started following along, sketching the curves of the buildings, etc. At about 1:25 or so, I had this epiphany, and sort of a feeling wash over me as I got it. I had goosebumps everywhere! I've been at it a couple days, and I could always get the light reflection to look realistic, but how other objects are reflected back in this sort of curved matrix that is placed onto the sphere- It just all clicked at once. Thanks a lot! I'll keep watching!

If you look far, it likes real. If you look closer, it doesn't. You need more detail about the building on the left, it sure look like a kid drawing. Just the building, not the whole ball.

outstanding. what i am really seeing here is a lesson on perspective along with contrast. we usually think of perspective as fading in to the distance but here not only is it fading in to the distance but it is warping your explanation of light/dark coloring is pretty clear but you give no clues on how to line up the perspective...maybe you could do a tutorial with some directed commentary on how to warp the lines properly. an explanation of your personal algorithm for doing that would be nice.
