all u need to separate the shadows from the car give the car an angel and try to show more of the cars below!

This is amazingly brilliant as always, mi Amigo! I've paid my dues by being an Accountant and IT Professional in another life and now it's time to do something I truly enjoy... or at least TRY by learning to draw using pencil sketching techniques.. I don't know about using colors though. I'm not very colorful person and usually prefer the pencil/charcoal shades but the blue eye lured me in and makes me want to know more about drawing with colored pencils (there seems to be so much to learn).. I find your video instructions very helpful. I hope to learn to draw things that appeal to me (and hopefully to others). as well as maybe given basic lessons one day when and if I've put in my time as a student. Thank you for giving a retired, disabled person something to look forward to.,

What you can do is to record it and in a video editing program select out the frames which shows only the paper after you've made an adjustment (and compile all these pictures) Alternatively, which propably is more work is to take a picture after each adjustment.

The shadow on of the pole is contradicting the shadows in the hole. The curves of the hole are casting shadow on the walls of the hole behind them, showing the light coming from the "front left" if that makes sense. While the shadow from the pole and the light on the paper clearly has the light coming from the "rear left" The walls should have a vertical gradient to give depth to the hole, but no angular shadows cast by the walls. Other than that, it's pretty cool.
