Hi Amie. First timer at coloured pencils and loved your tutorial. I am a graphite gale so it is a new world. I wanted ask when you were doing the Boston terrier which may I say was excellent, you mentioned a beaster polychromo pencil. I am not sure what this is. Absolutely amazing! I’m trying to draw my border terrier but because he has an underbite, he always shows his teeth and that’s where I get stuck 😂 Your work is beautiful!

Hello Amie, i have seen lots of video’s in the past four years, but never seen someone like you. BEAUTIFUL!! And your explanation with it is so clear. Most of the time you hear a irritating music... i saw your name on Facebook tonight, and saw a view video’s already.. and this weekend i will watch all of your video’s. Hope i hear new tips! But before that i have a question. The eyes, did you blend this with a white pencil? Is it possible to do this with a solvent? Why didn’t you do the hole dog with a solvent? And what do you prefer...really smooth service paper?( I have Bristol Smooth, the yellow block) I also tried Faber Castell Polychromos on Fischer 400 sanded paper, and on Drafting film (super super smooth) both off this paper is not my thing... i think i go back with my FC Polychromos on the Bristol where i started with 4 years ago. And on the Arches hot pressed paper with the watercolor pencils from Faber Castell Albrecht Dürer I’m still finding out what works the best for me.. Have a nice weekend... i will... i have a lot to watch from you 😉👍🏼

Amie..gorgeous as usual!! .have you tried using the Brush and Pencil fixative spray between layers so the highter colors can go over without embossing?

Yeah, the texture fixative doesn’t seem to work well with my Fabriano...it seems to work best on sanded paper. I’m still practicing with it :)
