May I request something? Is it possible to put up the drawing essentials that you had from art tutor?

It was good to have a go at the horse during my rest week. It was very satisfying

Thanks a lot for your videos. I'm improving very much with them. You're teaching me much more than a year class of a "teacher". I'm learning and discovering new techniques didn't know before. Please, continue like this!!

So glad you are putting these here. When they were on Art Tutor mixed up with so much content from other turors I used to watch the watercolor classes, but recently I have more interest in drawing and loving pastels on toned paper.

Thank you walking us through how you make decisions along the way from the sketching, to picking your colors, to where something should be on the value scale. I've learned how to make these decisions myself now.

I love your videos. What sets them apart from most others is that you demonstrate how to draw the outline. Most artists start with the outline drawing already transferred. IMHO, drawing is so much more fulfilling when you are able to confidently draw the outline and see the different shapes and changes in value in the subject. Really glad you started a new channel!

I thank you for explaining this....I too will need the outline!

great tutorial 👍 with pastels! I feel like pencil pressure is basically most of the blending done with pastels.. I do enjoy the colour selection in the video beginning alot, thanks! maybe a video on values via a small monochromatic piece or something would be nice if you like👍

Oh, Phil, please make closed captions available. For some of us, when we don't see you we don't "hear" you. Thank you.

Turn on the KZbin captions if it's helpful to an extent. Edit: I know YT auto-generated captions aren't that great but still helpful.

@@anikethchakraborty3238 Thank you. But those captions were "not available" when I posted the request. Now they are. Phil is so helpful. :-)
