@@DaggetDesigns I would really like a tutorial on how to draw traditional Japanese paintings. But I understand that it would be a very long video so if you don't want to I get it :)

Thanks for the tutorial! I tried that shading technique when for some traditional black roses and I have exactly the same equipment that you have in the video, but I wasn't able to get smooth fades. Instead the ink started to spread around and turned into blueish color. Quess I need a lot more practice lol, but this video was very inspiring anyways. Before I used to do shading with black coloring pencil and it's super slow specialy for bigger designs. Thanks for the video again ✌️
@DaggetDesigns4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! I would recommend using a little less water on the brush tip, i may do a future video on my shading technique. It can be tricky at times when the ink doesn’t do what you want it to! Keep practicing and keep drawing!

What mechanical pencil do you exectly use? I mean if its 0.5 or 0.7 or sonething else and which mine are you using?? Very nice video... I subscribed for hopefully more eventhough U am not a native speaker :)
@DaggetDesigns4 жыл бұрын
Hi Filip, thanks for watching and subscribing, I appreciate it. The mechanical pencil I use is a 0.5 in size, though its not too important because the pencil is only for the skecth phase.

Thanks Slygoodbye94 ot just takes practice and repetition. I made a note in my recent Hannya mask tutorial that i could make a video in future regarding different features and expressions for some of these characters, giving the building blocks needed to create them from memory
