Thank you for this video. Just a tip for your viewers. If it’s possible can you move your hand higher up on the pencil so your hand is not in the way and we can see better. Love your work ❤

Great tutorial! Just found your channel I only have the 24 set so some of colours I don't have But I was drawing my dog so could you tell me some substitute colors or something ?
@shannonmullin3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Which colours don’t you have?
@ranjinirj37423 жыл бұрын
Since I only have the 24 set of the polychromos I only have burnt ochre and black which you used in your tutorial Since I'm only staring out with colored pencils Is there a way I can do it instead of having to buy the colors I dont have? Do I blend colors?
@shannonmullin3 жыл бұрын
@@ranjinirj3742 I would try switching the colours out for the closest colours you have to them! It looks like the 24 set includes ivory so that’s the main thing, just layer the colours up really lightly and if you’re still struggling you can buy the pencils individually too ☺️
@ranjinirj37423 жыл бұрын
@@shannonmullin it actually isn't ivory , but its light yellow glaze. I think its close enough for me to use as the base though so no worries. Thank you SO much. I started to get a bit frustrated , but thank god I found your channel.

@@ranjinirj3742 ah damn it that would be a handy colour to have! Is there a white in there by any chance? If so you may be able to use that on top to lighten the colour slightly ☺️
