Your work is lovely and exciting to watch. I have always used oil crayons. I have been tempted to try pastels but am afraid of the chalk dust. Do you wear a mask? С выставкой не ясно, болели с дочкой, а нужно было ехать договариваться... в общем пока этот вопрос не решен, но по срокам уже не успеваю. Возможно придется отложить на более позднее время, так как в выставочном зале все расписано до Нового года и было время только середина апреля. Но я не расстраиваюсь, как будет😊

I taught folk art painting with acrylics for many years, following precise directions for every stroke. On my own, I couldn't draw a box with a ruler! Then I watched Bob Ross videos and bought all the oils. Didn't really paint much with them. Then I came across the soft pastel paintings and LOVE them. Have had some fairly decent success painting along with the professionals on the videos. I very much appreciate this opportunity to watch, learn, and produce some pretty scenes. Would love to find one with a rainbow in the sky!!!

Наталья, я кладу мелки рядом, во время работы, как Вы видите в видео., а не держу их в руке. И при рисовании пачкаются только кончики пальцев, а не вся ладонь. Во время работы, если нужно растушевать светлый оттенок, а у меня руки в темной пастели, пользуюсь сухими салфетками. В некоторых роликах показываю это, чтобы обратить внимание на то, что руки должны быть чистыми, когда работаешь со светлыми оттенками.

Which kind of paper is this?

I use ordinary sandpaper, granularity 1000, size 23x28 cm, waterproof. I buy in contraction stores.

No warm colors as usual..yellow, orange, red..feels so cold and lonely...

Each person has their own color preferences. I do not like warm colors and I use very little of them.
