Had a lot of thoughts while watching and it was fantastically easy to take in. The thing about studying anatomy is to look at whatever part of the subject you’re dealing with and try to recognize and copy it. I’m trying to learn a bit and I will just pick the part I’m working on and I’ll generally look at skeletal, muscle tendons and fat and skin etc. when you see the skin and fat layered over the skeleton it often starts to make alot more sense and gives you that ‘aha’ moment and if it’s more stylized I look for the interesting ways that people stylize different from reality and copy that, but even in that case, understanding reality helps to understand stylization. Basically just copy copy copy till you get it. This was a really succinct method to copy. Very cool and it’s really interesting how he’s applying structure to all these varied forms of animal. It’s an extremely good breakdown to start with and I don’t really many people doing that with animals.

Best way I've learned about anatomy is by looking up skeletons of whatever animal I'm drawing and then just going from there and freely making the muscles myself even if they're not correct, I just go with whatever makes sense

Speaking of wolves, Aaron, please spread this, Idaho has passed a law to kill 90% of their wolves, this started on the 1st of July , and they started killed 300-400 a DAY. after Idaho is done, Montana and other places will start doing this. They’ve started shooting wolves with tags, shooting from helicopters , running them over with snowmobiles and cars, using bear traps, nets, and so much more, they even shoot mothers and pups inside their dens!! Wolves are keystones for our ecosystem and without them, more bad things will keep happening, so please, if ANYPNE sees this message, spread it, to save the wolves.

I think the wolf and the dog have the same anatomy is that right
@ThatBugBehindYou3 жыл бұрын
No, they have different proportions and bone structure. Ultimately you just have to study the individual animals you want to draw so you understand their nuances but if you want a cartoon dog v wolf the main difference is having more hard edges on the wolf while rounding them off on a dog.
