Hi Cesar, you can draw an elevation from a floor plan in this way with any floor plan, no matter how complex. I don't tend to bring in drawings from SketchUp.

How does one get those Properties inspector and layers tabs like you have at the right side of the screen? How to enable them?

I work on a mac so if you are on a pc it might be a bit different but.... Go to Window - then select which tool palette you would like to see. You can then arrange and drag them to where you want them on your screen, or dock them.
