Oh absolutely, drawing is mostly practice. In 7-9 months, you can improve a lot. My advice, if time is an issue, is to avoid grinding on an artwork. An example of grinding would be shading hair for a couple of days for an art piece. Though it might look nice, you won't learn as much. Looking back, one of the biggest road block for me was not knowing where to look to improve. Over time, you will realize things about your art and technique that you can't see right now. That's just the way it is I think. Hopefully that can be sped up. Good luck.

For now, I’m just going to practice my spheres and then move on to doing the rest of the stuff, maybe even work on my circles a bit more. I’m doing this because I’m learning how to use my shoulder and elbow to draw.... which I’m having trouble with.
