If I remember correctly naoto oshima has already drawn sonic with his boot cuffs pulled up it's on his twitter somewhere. And by the way it's more so that sonic's boots are inspired by Michael Jackson's boots(from the clip of the song "bad" I think) and their colour palette is taken from santa claus. And yeah actually michaels boots are also much longer and have more buckles on them. So yeah that's all there was to say. I just wanted to clarify some things.

How do you do the drawings? If you using a drawing tablet, what kind is it? I'm thinking of getting one myself but I worry about the tablets that don't have screens on them. Idk why but it bothers me when you draw the lines, when I draw I love making bold lines with pressure sensitivity so I guess that's what's bothering me lol also does Clip Studio have a lock layer feature so you can color the lineart with any color you want so you don't have to make your lines uneven?
