As long as the lines are equidistant to each other, you can use any measurement 💕 Shoulders are around twice the width of the head.

How do you know where are the shoulders going to be like I made an inch because everything was inch gaping and now the whole figure looks so small.

I usually estimate the width of the shoulders to be as wide as two heads (check out 1:15 in the video for reference). Shoulder line is usually situated halfway between lines 2 and 3 (check out 0:52 for reference). You may have to turn on the captions in order to read the instructions/text. Hope this helps! 💗
