Mate, an amazing lesson. One can always tell when a ‘teacher’ knows their stuff because the subject becomes clear, demystified. No waxing lyrical in Latin, just a beautiful and pragmatic abstraction of one of the most complex and expressive forms in Anatomy. Almost like Bridgman jumped out of a textbook and started talking as he drew. Many thanks!

Palm is one of those places where it really, really helps to know the detailed surface anatomy including skin folds, creases, bumps and valleys so as to be able to draw one in different actions. Meaning, you cannot fake the authenticity of a well drawn hand unlike a leg or a torso.

My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.

Ok for those who are struggling to understand I will break this into steps you can follow for the hand outline or drawing it. Step 1: rewind the part your confused about a few times and try to follow his pencil’s movement for better understanding of the outline and drawing Step 2: hands are like a slice of bread with tubes on the end so try and imagine that instead of a square with rectangles on the end of it Step 3: try and pause every time he draws to get a better understanding I legit can’t stress this enough people just look at videos to the end without even trying to understand then complain how it’s useless Step 4: try and follow his strokes and outline then pause the video and attempt to do what he did then when you did your best do it a few more times, then try to sketch without the video to see if you improved Step 5: don’t get mad when your drawing/sketch doesn’t look as good as his remember he is a professional that has probably been drawing way before you were born so give yourself some lower standards and be happy with what YOU learned

Your quick easy drawing via concave and convex lines is part of whats inspiring about your videos. When I pause and look at one of your sketched hands I spend the first couple seconds thinking “half of these lines just mistakes from quickly sketching” then I look at it for a bit longer and am amazed that every line has a meaning. Hey David...if it's not much to ask...can you do a tutorial on Human composition in perspective (1,2,3) and how to finish it within a time limit (like in 30-45 mins) please 🙏
