I did! By basically drawing 'around' the lighter hairs with the darker colors:)

Thank you for this video. I am about to start coloring my first real portrait of an animal which is a horse and I am so apprehensive as to where to start and the color etc. Its a Medicine Hat Horse I am doing for the Northwest Rescue for mustangs. . It's normal! Some of mine only have Germany and the newer ones have 'made in Germany' :)
