I struggle drawing this particular type of male characters. Buff ones or androgynous Vampires are no problem for me. When I draw this type seen in your video, they often look too young. 😢 I love how you explained the coloring process. It helps me to understand how others do it. I've learned a lot today, thank you for sharing 😊

I can't really tell you what it is you're doing wrong, but one common mistake I see are the eyes being too big, maybe that's it? If it isn't then always ask for feedback from other artists that are better in you in some aspects, it's a literal hack for improvement. Thank you for the comment.

@@sariyaart thank you for the help! I think I struggle with the proportions of this type of character. The structure of the head is different from what I usually draw and this feels off to me, I guess 🤔 I probably have to practice this type in particular a bit to get a better idea of how it works. :3

Well that has less to do with style and more with drawing faces in general. I recommend you look into face-drawing tutorials and study drawing them.

@@sariyaart I disagree, the proportions of where you put certain features and how one draws those features can widely change the outcome. Even adjusting the size can be a big factor. I want to start incorporating different styles into how I draw my faces, but I can never get it right (what I find to be visually attractive) which is why I hoped you would dive deeper. Thank you for the advice tho. Great video!
