Very funny... But making these takes time, especially when dealing with realism. Let’s just say Quality over Quantity🙃

I`ve heard about Zest-it to blend colours and put more and more layers above. But what is the solvent for? What is the difference between Zest-it and solvent? Amazing drawing by the way.

Regarding the solvent, does it warp the paper at all? I know you stated that you don't load up the brush with it, but adding the amount you do, does it ever warp the paper or has it before in your experience of using it?
@melindavivas54877 жыл бұрын
I stumbled across this video and the one before on during fur. I really enjoyed them both and picked up tips and the"why" you used a certain method. I also really liked how you provided the color of the pencil while you were using it, unlike other videos. I may have missed it, but I wonder if you would be so kind and share what type, brand and weight of paper you used for this project. I really like your Art!!! Thank you so much for sharing your talent. 😁

Hey Kirsy, love your video, but will using watercolor pencils and wather work the same (or similar) to using colored pencils and solvent and if not is there a way to make it look similar?
@KirstyPartridgeArt7 жыл бұрын
Hey, I haven't used watercolour pencils before but I assume that they could give a similar look if you apply the pencils in light layers in a similar way as you would with the coloured pencils and then blend it out with water rather than solvent. But I haven't got any experience with these, but there is probably lots of tutorials on KZbin about them 😊💕

+Kirsty Partridge Art Thank you so much. And btw I was asking because I can't find solvent in my country and I'm a bit scared to order online.

Thanks to this channel I have learned a lot about colored pencil techniques. I always look forward to this channel. Can you do a tutorial video on "transparent things with a background. like a persond wearing a dress with transparent sleeves or transparent fairy wings with forest as a background." I just want to know the technique when their is a background.

What kind of White pencil do you use?
@alsypig4 жыл бұрын
I tried this using cheap low odour white spirit, it didn't turn out too bad but my white pencil, same brand as yours, wouldn't take to the new layer and look as vibrant as it does on yours. Any ideas why? Do you think it was the solvent I used? Or the paper perhaps? ( I used Daler Rodney smooth heavyweight paper)

can you repeat please what white pencil are you using? Thank you^^
