I'm self tout so here is a tip have two books for drawing one has to be good paper and the other is supersizing is a normal school notebook paper you can do small sketched on the page and number them to and with the other good drawing book that is made for drawing you can use that to make an art peace.

You're an amazing Artist bro. Although my first love is cycling, I also dabble with drawing and I've noticed the quality of Paper makes a big difference With over all result especially blending and shading. Quality paper is expensive, which is why I have 2 sketch books, the cheaper one is for practice and the quality one is for my proper Art. Would you agree the quality of Paper and pencils make a difference?

I’m using the back of a metal pen - it has a thin edge I can scrape along the paper

Every video that an artist posts to teach someone how to draw something uses hyper time lapse so it goes way too fast to understand the technique. I get that if the video runs on real time it will be super long but that's what KZbin is for. Save your time lapses for TikTok videos and run real time so we can actually learn. I'm an experienced artist and I'm not ashamed to say that I cannot draw something as detailed as this when it's being drawn with the fast forward button pressed.
