Awesome! If someone has the patience to follow your work this hour then there is no question about drawing realistic ears with pencil. I'm glad I did it. :)

Great in-depth analysis. Watched the first 10 mins on my lunch break. Will watch the rest when I get home. What is your opinion on using tonal/value finders when drawing? I only been drawing for 5 months now and I find them helpful. But should I be trying to train my eyes to see the value without using this tool.

Although I own one, I have a problem with shade matching my graphite values to the values on the finder. So I just gave up and eye ball it. But if you can use it, by all means use it! It could help out. I would if I could. Guess our eyes can play tricks. Bottom line, I do not believe using this tool will hamper your progress.
