Hi, thanks for the question. In principle, we don't need adopt a particular theoretical position or particular assumptions to draw a rich picture. Anyone can draw one, whatever your view. The picture will simply reflect your subjective view of the situation. However, I would encourage you to try take an holistic view of the situation and develop as rich an interpretation as you can. Of particular importance would be features like relationships, processes, stakeholder, environmental constraints, etc. - all the things we try to explore when making strategy. You could also include elements like SWOT, PESTEL, P5Fs, resources and capabilities, but we don't want the picture to become overly complex and leave us even more confused!

You should make a vid about making a rich picture step by step, and not show us a finished one and explain it. Sorry but this video didnt help and what u have shown is overly complicated

Good idea. I have done this with my students, but I'll have a go with a youtube video.
