Hello thanks for your video is there any tips to copy paste option guide. I'm a newbie and can't copy paste the eye like you did thanks
@tatyanadeniz Жыл бұрын
The easiest way to copy & paste is to select the area you want to copy & paste (using the selection tool), then take 3 fingers and swipe down on the screen. This will bring up a menu where you can say "Duplicate" to copy the selected area to a new layer. Hope this helps!!!

Informative. In 5.2 they added stabilization. How does that change what you described?
@tatyanadeniz2 жыл бұрын
Yes, stabilization is sooo good. :) I've updated the video description to address that. I find stabilization to be even BETTER than the original streamline! I usually set my numbers around (or below) 45 to make sure the line still feels natural. Stabilization is the same as streamline (and is used in the same way), except it offers more tweaking options and better smoothing algorithm.

@tatyanadeniz2 жыл бұрын
Yay, so glad the tips helped! I hear ya about the challenge of going from vector to drawing by hand. I am the opposite!! My hand flows freely, and with vector - I get stuck, haha. I suppose both skills take practice. :) Yeah, keep practicing and it will feel natural. What made a huge difference for my Procreate journey was a commission of 13 full-page illustrations to be completed within 3 weeks. I drew so much that I inevitably got more comfortable with it! Excited to hear about your progress. :)

Does using a matte protector help in having stable lines?
@tatyanadeniz Жыл бұрын
I do love my PaperLike screen protector (it's matte and offers resistance to the pencil). And to me, it helps with smooth lines. I am not sure that matte protector would automatically give you stable lines (stabilization settings does! :)), but it helps to gain that dexterity faster. So yes. :)

Oh, it takes a bit of getting used to... it has to be a precise 3-finger swipe (unless it's disabled for you). Try a few more times!! And check your settings: tools (with wrench icon) > Prefs > Gesture Controls > Copy & Paste > see that you have it set to "3-finger swipe". Let me know if this works!

Question: how do you make a portion of a circle’s line wider in width and taper down to a fine point? Thank you!
@tatyanadeniz Жыл бұрын
Hi Greg, GREAT question! To do this, you will need to use a brush that has varied width. So NOT Mononline, as I show in this video. But something like "Studio Pen" or "Syrup" or "Script". You can still set the "Stabilization" settings for those, like I show in the video, to keep them smooth overall. And you can use the "Quick Shape". But they will give you a tapered point based on the pressure you apply. Hope this helps! Is this what you are after? Or something different?
