Dong Ho Kim was born in Seoul, Korea. He had majored in Comic Art and is now working as a webtoon (webcomic) artist. He has also been illustrating various spaces that he had visited during his travels.
One of his major works is his urban sketchbook series called, Drawing the Space. He is actively participating in various projects such as exhibiting his personal works, murals for corporate offices and giving lectures on how to illustrate for book covers, etc.

I feel like I have a pretty good understanding of anatomy, but then I see vids like these and this dude is taking about bones and muscles I never heard of. Goes to show just how much anatomy practice could help you in you're drawings.

For drawing the torso it's better to focus on knowing how to draw the pelvis, ribcage, and spine and head as one unit before you start getting into the weeds of those individual muscles anyway. Gotta know the bones first.

In my opinion, it is the biggest mistake in the entire Artist history to teach other ppl the proportion of a body beginning with the head. To have a consistent flawless body proportion no matter how big the head is, it is important to learn proportions ignoring the head. The best way to learn proportions or the human body is to have the body in 2 parts: Torso and waist. These 2 can be divided into 5 parts which perfectly line up with important areas like navel, breasts, shoulders, how long the neck is and so on. The legs are the length of the body + the size of the head. This can be applied to male, female, anime, cartoon, realistic style and all other kinds of styles. Chibi has its own rules tho but what I have mentioned can be applied to this style as well except of the legs. The legs in chibi style are just the length of the body - head since the head is the size of the whole body.

I think dong ho has a way better teaching skills than kim jun gi. Kim jung gi is a great art skilled guy, he supposted to be in world most talented artists. But kim doesn't explain his drawings at all he's just like "draw this head learn anatomy and now i cut this head then he making noises like *PRRRRRBRPP!* . He's very good, funny and inspirationital guy but he's lectures are not good for learning
