HOW TO DRESS CORP GOTH IN THE SUMMER ☾

I haven't dressed goth since I was a teenager in the 80's. But I'm wanting to revisit the style as I've always loved goth music. I don't work currently due to illness but I'm loving the simplicity of the Corp goth look. I do wear a lot of black so I might give it a try.

Love the tips!! I lean a lil whimsy-goth and my wardrobe is mostly black w/ sprinkles of jewel tones, dark florals, and the occasional brown/navy. My trick is to wear sheer-ish tops especially here in the south where temps get over 95 + humidity. My whimsy side shines in my accessories which are mostly gold but with rubies/emeralds and low key chain belts with suns/moons. For shoes I stick to black heeled sandals or loafers. I wish I could play around with makeup but I’m surrounded my techbros in a very conservative office plus I’m terrible at makeup😅

I love these looks but I work at a daycare with infants so I do wat I call babysitter goth which isn’t as cool as I thought it was now that I write it out 😂

Yes, I don't hear many people having the same issue 😔 people assume it's because I'm against makeup, its like I wish I could wear falsies everyday without a reaction lol

I was so inspired by your videos, all of them thus far, that I went online and checked out Disturbia and ordered the Cora button up midaxi dress! it's the first piece of new clothing as opposed to thrifted or secondhand from eBay that I have bought myself in absolute ages but it is something that will be in my closet forever and I will get tons of wear out of it, I am so excited! also I really love your videos so much!

I didn't realize it was a term until much later in my 20s too! I always knew I loved dark aesthetics, goth adjacent styles and looking like I'm about to go to a business meeting so when I was called a corp goth for the first time, it made so much sense lol
