Hey man, love the videos. I was thinking about getting a 4 door e46 for drifting, but I was unsure about it since you don't see them drifting that much. Now Im definitely going to get one. One quick question, but I heard that the e46 has some rear subframe issues, so I was wondering if you would suggest getting some sort of rear brace. Thanks, and keep making dope videos.

Some have the issues, some do not. There are a set of plates you can buy for about 150$ from a few different places called subframe reinforcement plates. Good luck with the purchase. I'm very happy with mine

Awesome video although, i already know how to drift in a certain level.. It's always nice to watch these videos to sort of getting the feeling of polishing your knowledge in these specific skills, not only the practical part but also theory. I'd be super happy if you could do another series on how to drift with the new M5, since they've got a lot of technologies applied these days such as track controll on or of etc.. also most of them is automatic/manuell with paddle shift, so it'd be nice to know how to drift in the 2 different mods even though the automatic might only crave some decent power to slide into drifting. hahha Hope to see some new videos within those content mentioned above :))

Hey man. What about a turbo car. At a low speed on 2nd gear, just a quick clutch kick doesn’t help me lose traction, it tries but doesn’t work. So at a super low speed, do i need to hold clutch in, build rpm and then dump it?

Hey I’m good at clutch kicking getting in the turn but I’m seeing people use it mid drift to help control the car, the way I tried doing it made it feel like it straightens out the car a little (removes some angle) am I right with that assumption lol

Hey man, so I'm about to purchase my first car, I'm used to driving trucks but I like racing and I want to get to know how to drift my car... but the car I'm getting is a 2012 Camaro (manual obviously). Its got more than enough horsepower at 323 hp at 4000 RPM. So i know it's got the power to get there, but I want your opinion on what I should do to make it a better drift car after installing an LSD. hope to hear from you soon, thanks.
@chelseadenofa8 жыл бұрын
Yea, man! You will want to get the LSD or locked diff, then youll probably want a tune mostly to make the throttle more responsive. They are laggy stock. Then youll probably want to spend your money on tires and track time till you max out the car. Then id get a seat and steering wheel. By this point youll be able to pick your next move.

For weight distribution where would you say you would want the weight for drifting? I have a 99 v6 mustang that's semi-striped with a locker and the back is pretty light. I would like to relocate the battery eventually, would it still be wise to but it behind the driver seat? Or the rear to have some more weight in the back of the vehicle?

The lighter the better, but youll want as close to 50/50 weight distribution.

any tips on how to drag the wall?
@chelseadenofa8 жыл бұрын
Best tip is to work towards it slowly. Then when you get to the point where you are a foot away, pull the hand brake for just a quick jab, itll back you up the extra bit, and youll have the ability to clutch kick as soon as you feel contact. On power hits are much harder.

for underpowered car like the BRZ clutch kicked is used more often than ebrake right? i tried drifting once and got slightly discouraged. will try to attend the next possible event to improve my skills.
@chelseadenofa8 жыл бұрын
Depends on the entry style. If its and increasing radius turn, youll definitely want to clutch kick, but if its a tighter turn youll want to Ebrake to slow the car down.
