usually over rotation is either using too much throttle (prevented by learning to feather) or by trying to initiate the drift too harsh. Best to try and gradually drift slow and small and build up till you hold a long drift on one corner, then work on chaining them. Also things like increasing the steering lock can help to catch the car at a steerer angle and bring the rear end back in under control

back then I didnt actually change the handling, I used the default one provided on the server it was on, I did do another video of a handling set up I used to use some time after making this video but back then I didnt even consider changing the handling. I know some servers have got some defaults which is like driving on ice but most can be improves by increasing the -traction curve max and min, along with the lateral curve which will increase or decrease the circumstance a drift will go for (higher lat; longer sweeping drifts, lower lat; a smaller more snappy drift circle)

How do you get on drift servers

if you have GTA 5 and FiveM install on PC then you can find servers on FiveM program, Servers like Velocity, Clarity Drift, FullBoost, MadDrift are all decent and big servers to check out

What kind of script do servers like maddrift use do they edit the handling on every single one of them or is there some sort of script that just gives cars 0 grip?

a lot will use a custom build editor, but also the base files to the car like the meta handling will be edited to increase the stats of the car to allow it to spin wheels etc. but a handling editor in game people use this: www.gta5-mods.com/tools/real-time-handling-editor

if there is a handling editor you can change things like the traction curve min and max or something and putting car velocity up, gear changes and revv speed up amongst other things to allow the car to behave like it is drifting
