One big mistake I noticed a few of my friends were making while trying to learn to drift is they stayed on automatic transmission especially on higher power cars like the FD's manual with clutch gives you a world of control that you didn't even know existed.

doesn't matter how hardcore JDM fan you are, everyone knows that the small block V8 is the cheapest and most reliable engine if you want power. Probably the main reason why professionals usually use Mustangs, etc. (Well, here in Europe, mostly BMW E46, it's easier to get but it's not cheaper to maintain.)

Actualy guys, if u run the front forza splitter and no rear wing ull make ur front end bite the corners faster, bc theres no aero on the rear, if ur learnong how to drif this can help u, if u never drifted before my recomendation is to stuck with 300-500hp, having a lot of hp when ur starting ll be a pain in the ass

@AR12 I wish forza had a "hold gear" button Gran Turismo used to have a button that if you were driving a Automatic. You could press the button and hold the gear after braking to gear down.

Using Mazda MX 5 for drifting. Tire pressure at 27 and manual with clutch. Drifts like butter on hot pan. Its hp crossed 840

Drift tires are really gripppy and if your using them make sure u have loads of power and weight reduction, with the power though for beginners it’s better to learn around 300 to 500 and use stock tires with the right tune you can drift smoothly and easily👍👍
