I use a trick i seen this other dude using where u get a 2 or 3 liter bottle full of water with the cap on and a lil pin hole on the side towards the lower half. Play around with the hole size (i used a hot tack to open it a little). When u get just a tiny lil spout put a piece of tape on it. Get your hole making area all blocked up how u need it, pull the tape and get r done! Also works great for glass jars. And with glass i always use the ball type diamond bits!

Nope they don't make stuff like they used to but I like my rechargeable rotary tool and can use an inverter for charging when working out of camp. It's lighter also and easier to hold onto for me that is I have arthritis for years of work and had to get lighter tools. That's a nifty rotary tool you've got though! Thanks for the video.

@@QuartzCowboy yeah I got an old 20 something year old Dremel I like a lot too still works just as good as new. It's just easier to travel with the portable one and I'm on the road about 10 months out of the year either in-state and many times out of state. I've got my Subaru setup to work out of and camp out of, solar panels battery banks inverter etc heck I've even got a hand crank sewing machine to make little bags to put the jewelry in. We also take nature videos and photos. I work with a Dingo dog his name is Dog.

Hello cowboy, I have a question. What about putting larger, 14mm to 20mm holes into bigger crystals? Is it a case of getting a massive drill bit (lol)? Or something else? Struggling to search.
