For anyone who remembers trolleybuses in the UK, they had regenerative braking too - though the current was fed back into the overhead wires, not a battery. As with one-pedal control, a driver would only use the brake pedal to bring his vehicle to a final stop.

I wonder how brakes work on this car. It obviously has engine braking and normal disc brakes and they should feel different, also engine braking mean you brake with 2 wheels rather than 4 which can be tricky in winter. And if you overlap engine braking and disc brakes it could lead to wheel lock up. Engine braking also mean it can have interesting effects in low grip similar to what you get when you try to accelerate too fast and you get 1 wheel spinning/1 wheel stationary (without diff lock).
@johnnyswildlife41193 жыл бұрын
There are 2 discs, and 2 clutch brakes. Back wheels are most of the time the clutch ones, front-disc brakes. About the slipping during the winter, most of the electric cars have ESP and ABA, that are preventing wheel lock up and overall mess when in specific conditions.
