I love the look of that post driver. But... The rest of this is ridiculous. Why sharpen a back up post (especially in ground that soft) when the strainer wires want to force the back up post (second strainer?) into the ground. That will only lead to a lose box, and no body wants that. Why spend the time to sharpen and chisel out a hole for your strut when you could use two decking spikes (huge nails) and save a bunch of time (a short one gets half buried into the strainer post, the head going into a pre drilled hole in the strut post. Another goes through the back up (pre drilled) and is hammered into the strut.) Also H-box kits are a waste of money when it's so easy to learn to wire a box in under 5 minutes. Ps. worth mentioning the strut post needs to be about 3m cus physics.

Coen hi the chisel out is done for NZ conditions wet most areas and also for side strength with in corner paddock pressure.

Looks like Uk to me. Most strainers in uk are pointed before so called treatment. I know one gripple is not going to do a lot. In Shropshire, we would use three wraps of 2.5ht strained with a monkey and crimped. In NZ I would use three wraps of ht and then "twitch it tight using a 2x2 inch batton.
