problem is no performance mode, on country road when you're heavy loaded, the truck keep shifting all gears before 1400 rpm, so really struggling to build up speed.

And the dangerous think is he only use a single hand to drive a loaded truck. That's mean, his other hand doesn't holding a (or any) phone right? :) So when I think again...
