I tried programming my TESLA card into the company system. No soap. They are pretty secure.

That’s fine, you can just use a voice command. I do it all the time in my Model 3. Everything like climate, wiper blades, fan speed, music source, or station/song can be selected or changed with just voice commands. And conveniently the button for voice commands is right on your steering wheel, so you don’t even have to look away from the road.

I don't think "paranoia" is the right word for protecting yourself from something that you know is 100% happening.
