Literally in my car doing a scan when this vid popped in. Been chatting with Tim the last few days being the novice that I am in this regard , he is likely saving my A--. Needless to say I have been doing this scanning process all wrong per this video. My next scan will be on point assuming I add the channels in right..(-: I must say the young man sitting in your car next to you is knowledgable..perceptive as you are about the Zzp way/ program. Not to mention you guys are safety concerned which I love and seem generally to be good guys..not A-- wipes. NICE!

If you need help, I can give ya some tips or explain it if you misunderstand something. I just tuned my car and I scanned it wrong a few times, believe it or not, I had to try more than 5 times to scan mine properly. The tuners are patient but for a first timer like me, the process is new and it can be a little intimidating but it is rather easy in the overall scheme of things.

Great video guys, I'm getting my remote tune tomorrow and I'm excited to see how that goes, this was a good video for info as I was thinking in doing full throttles on the first run... now I know not to lol Thanks!

Biggest challenge I had with bnr tuning is drivability with the auto trans. Thanks for pointing out a scan with normal throttle going through gears so shift points are logged and tuned.

Oh ok im on the "mail order tune" working with matt just sent him 1st scan. It felt sluggish on top end but maybe its for safety. Down low feels peppy ready to take off. Better than before. If it only gets better cant wait for the flexfuel tune!

Great video and good information! I am glad you guys and gals know what your are doing. I am sure when I get my car back after the revisions you've made, it should be awesome! hey Tyler, you gotta get a cool screen "handle" Tim's got "Turbo" and Ryan's got "Dee". You could be like Tyler "2.0H", LOL.

Is there any specific driving that would be best for the MAF calibration portion of a turbo LE5 tune?
@ZZPerformanceChannel2 жыл бұрын
We would suggest asking your tuner directly. You can also message us at customerservice@zzperformance.com and we can help you out.

I've got a question regarding WOT pull, I've got a 3800sc with the 4t65e-hd, so I would need to send full throttle 1st to 2nd and 2nd to drive pull. Can I roll into it to avoid wheel spin, as long as I'm full throttle before the 1st to 2nd shift, or should I be full throttle pretty much from a dig?
@hybridyd13053 жыл бұрын
I tuned my car with zzp, they usually have you go WOT from 3,000rpm to redline. In an automatic, you would lay your foot to the floor as once you hit 3,000rpm and hold it to the floor, do not lift off until you redline. Obviously be aware of the road, but I drive a manual car so Idk too much about automatic transmissions.
@hybridyd13053 жыл бұрын
It's the same basically whether you're in an auto or manual, just floor it at 3k and don't stop until you hit redline. I'd say cruise around like 30mph, then go WOT. Message their customer service or even call and ask, they have great customer service.

I'm assuming this needs to be closed loop only (operating temp) ?
@ZZPerformanceChannel3 жыл бұрын
It's good to get a cold start log at least once or twice in the tuning process. Continue the log up to temp and do your normal driving as described in the video.

What’s the usual turn around time for the remote tunes at ZZP?
@Gimp4083 жыл бұрын
For me it took about and hour, just depends on the tuner and when they receive the file

I ordered the tune on Monday afternoon, got the base file Tuesday morning. Sent the scan in Tuesday afternoon, got my first revision Tuesday evening.
