Great tips, thanks dude! Drops always look WAY scarier than they actually end up being. It took me like 20 minutes to work up the courage to finally try a waist high ledge I’d been staring down. But the landing was actually totally fine haha. It made the second one easier for sure. The hardest part is the full send. Also! I’ve noticed on bigger drops like that you bend your knees reeeally low. That’s cool to see cuz it’s super smart! Less mass to move means less inertia, so a lighter landing.

Hi Bodhi, there are a lot of drop tutorial tutorials out there but I think this one is the best. You addressed the most important part, which is inside the mind of the rider. I like how you mentioned to approach it with confidence, and to do that besides practice, you have to go over it many times in your mind too. Good one Bodhi!

This was terrific and I am stoked for the dawn of a new day to go practice! Yes indeed, I can relate to your comment of thinking about what can go wrong instead of focusing on my proper execution! That is a real mental flaw for me and it is just now, after hearing you point it out, that I am fully cognizant of it and will work on it with the same fervor that I will work on my drops! ➖🟢➖☁️safely Y’all ✌️

Great video for city street drops. Most drops I do are on trails and often they are downhill where the approach to the drop and the landing are all sloped downward. I tend to tail slap on the top, the landing, or both because I'm afraid of nose diving on the stomp. I hate nose diving downhill because it's harder for me to run out. I'd be curious what strategy you use for drops like that.
