Would this product work for woodblock prints that are printed on rice paper? Wanted to double check that that the silicone wouldn’t do anything odd to the oil based ink

The heat required is only 180F low so it will not do harm to the print.

Can you peel off the backing paper with silicon release like the backing paper with traditional flour paste?

The release paper? yes. But the silicone will stick to the paper which is not removable.

Peeling off the backing from the silicone paper is not difficult.

Hello mr. Li, I bought silicone paper ( one side silicone ) and aquarel (waterpainting) paper. I did exactly what you told and did in the video, but my silicone paper does NOT react to the heat of the ironing. The silicone paper does not stick to the waterpainting paper, there is no paper that I can peel off the silicone layer. A higher temperature does not help, and turning around the silicone paper also does not work. Probably I have the wrong paper. But what is the right silicone paper then? Does Blue heron sell this? Or where do I get it?

There are all kind of silicone paper, some react to pressure some to heat. Mine is heat sensitive.

Thank you mr Li. I found it on BHA. However: 52$ for the paper plus over 40€ to ship it to the Netherlands...and then I can mount only about ten paintings.... that is too expensive for me. i am sorry. But thank you for your help.

@@jcmvangeel8716 did you ever find another similar paper to what Mt. Li is using in the Netherlands? I was also very interested in this, ordered in 2020 from BHA a roll but the package got stuck in customs, then it was out for delivery but never got delivered (I was following the USPS package tracking) so I tried to recover it but I did not manage :( so I never received the package.. lost 111E... it not Mr. Li's fault but just receiving any post from USA safely is a challenge..
